Rorate Caeli

Happy birthday

Excerpt of the birthday message sent to the Pope by his brother, Canon Georg Ratzinger, for his birthday in 2006:
"May the Lord give you spiritual and intellectual inspiration, and also physical strength, to thus be able to take the right decisions and to find the proper words, and to remain brave and steady on the waves which, according to a secret Divine will, surround the Church, and you with her."

"Oremus pro invicem."
The waves are mighty, indeed...

The waves could be calmed if the pope would merely obey Our Lady's commands given at Fatima. How sad to know that someone has so much power but refuses to use it. Let us pray for him.

The world was already consecrated to the immaculate heart of Mary sufficently. According to sister lucia.

Anonymous,

Absolutely not true.
The last attempt at Consecration [of the four attempted] was made in 1984 and it is documented that Pope John Paul did NOT follow Our Ladys explicit instructions and Consecrate Russia by name, with all of the Bishops of the world on one specific day to the Immaculate Heart.
Pope John Paul II acknowledged this himself, and
Sister Lucia never ever said that it was "sufficient"
rather she said "that Heaven accepted it"
Not that it fulfilled Our Ladys request. Big difference
Look at Russia today.
It has not converted, and there has not been a period of peace in the world.
Let us pray for the Holy Father and for the Consecration of Russia by name with all of the bishops of the world on one spesific day, per Our Ladys request.

I pray for the Holy Father's Health and his Pontificate. He is especially important for it was his approach and teaching that may have just saved my soul and brought me fuller into my Faith. Happy Birthday Papa !

I think we all pray for the Holy Father and for his good health and the success of his pontificate. At the same time we feel obliged sometimes to bring certain matters to his attention and one hopes that in his internet activities he comes across some of these concerns. But, today, I can only wish him a Happy Birthday and the prayer that God will keep him safe.

anon 08:18 says: "The world was already consecrated to the immaculate heart of Mary sufficently. According to sister lucia."

Sister Lucia always insisted that neither our Lord nor our Lady ever asked her to request the consecration of the WORLD! God accepted the good gesture of "entrustment" of the world, but it did not fulfill the requests of Heaven. God specifically wants the consecration of R-U-S-S-I-A.

When Pius XII consecrated the world, Sr. Lucia said, regarding that consecration of Oct. 31, '42:

"The good God has already shown me that He is pleased by the act, even though incomplete, accomplished by the Holy Father and by several bishops. He promises, in return, to put an end to the war soon. The conversion of Russia is not for now."

Likewise, it is most likely certain that the "entrustment" of JPII in 1984 also merited the world certain graces, but obviously not the conversion of Russia.

Again, Sr. Lucia has emphatically stated that God wants the consecration of Russia, done in union with the world's bishops. We will not have the fulfillment of the promise of peace for the Church and the world until God is obeyed!

I wish a belated "Happy Birthday" to the Vicar of Christ.

How can we not pray fervently for this brave and holy successor of Peter whom the World hates precisely because of his love and fidelity to the timeless teaching of the Church, and his effectiveness in restoring tradition! I stand with Peter, and you all should do so spiritually as well. He is the best we've had in many decades, and he needs our love and sacrifices.--DCpa

All this Fatima-olatry is so unnecessary, so unhelpful and frankly absurd.
