Rorate Caeli

"Tu quis es, qui iudicas alienum servum?"

A florilegium of words from Holy Scripture that have been on my mind these days...

Thank you Rorate. Good job. You are all in my prayers; especially New Catholic and his mom. God bless.

Especially the last one (Galatians 5:15).

Maybe it's just the Internet, and the rapidity of communication, but I've never seen the election of a Pope generate this level of animosity amongst Catholics in my lifetime. Despite my own best efforts, I've contributed to it on occasion myself.

Dear Lord, through the intercession of Thy most holy Mother, forgive us, comfort us in our trials, and draw us all to Thyself.

The verse from Proverbs is a welcome reminder of the magnificent final prayer of Augustine's De Trinitate. Thanks!

It was great fun deciphering these and they were each very apt.

I will carry these in my heart today and share them with my children.
