You cannot make up this sort of thing:
Father Philippe Bordeyne is the President of the Paris Catholic Institute [the main Catholic University in France] since September 1, 2011. ... At the beginning of classes ..., it was he who granted the title of Doctor Honoris Causa to Jacques Delors [one the most prominent Socialists in France, former president of the European Commission, father of the Maastricht Treaty and of the Euro], declaring at the time:
"You are the incarnation of the options made by the Catholic Church in Vatican II."
Except for Jean Madiran, no one has, to my knowledge, highlighted this scandalous declaration.
On December 8, 2011, the Patronal Feast of the Institute, a mass was presided by Father Philippe Bordeyne in Saint Joseph's Chapel. De angelis mass setting, incense, Latin... the Creed was supposed to be sung in Gregorian chant. Well, that displeased the President. When the moment of the Creed arrived, as foreseen in the chant booklet, he stood up and said:
"Excuse me, but I am looking at the program, and I will modify it. In fact, last September, as new President of the Institute, I swore an oath with the other new Parisian priests before Cardinal Vingt-Trois. We swear the oath by reciting the Creed. But we pronounced it in French. Therefore, in order to be in communion with our Archbishop, I ask you to recite it in French."
