The Military Ordinary for the Armed Forces of Brazil, Archbishop Fernando Guimarães, named for his position by Pope Francis months ago, celebrated a Pontifical Mass in the chapel dedicated to the Traditional Mass in the national capital, Brasília. The Pontifical Mass , procession, and blessing of candles took place on February 2, 2015, for the feast of Candlemas.
