Our friends in the Italian blog Messa in Latino have been doing an extensive coverage of the Summorum Pontificum Pilgrimage to Rome, led by its chaplain Fr. Claude Barthe, with the participation of great names. Since October has become "Synod month" almost every year in this pontificate, the event has undoubtedly been overshadowed.

But what matters is that scores of Traditional pilgrims from all over the world are making their presence known in the heart of Catholicism.

The central event of the pilgrimage, the Pontifical Mass by the tomb of the Prince of the Apostles, in Saint Peter's Basilica (celebrated this year by Bp. Dominique Rey), is about to begin, and the beautiful procession was seen by many: may their prayer to Our Lord, King of the Universe, be heard.
