Friends of Campos: Advent Fundraiser

Advent Fundraiser   DEAR FRIENDS, CHRISTMAS IS COMING and we are launching our second fundraiser of 2021.  In these trying times, in this impoverished region, your help is invaluable. Please help us reach our Christmas goal of $20,000 USD! Your contributions make a big difference for the people of this unique traditional Catholic diocese. Donate today! Here are our Advent 2021 projects: Food: a basic need! ​Though local donations are much improved compared to last year, we will continue to donate $1000 USD each month to both the seminary and the convent whenever we have enough, to help with the purchase of more expensive items like meat, eggs, milk, and health and hygiene items. Christmas goal: Desks With your generous help we were able to get wardrobes ordered for every room at the seminary during our Lent campaign. Now we are going to knock out the desks and chairs portion of the project! The current state of tables and chairs in the dorm rooms is terrible. A local furniture business has offered a great discount. We would like to contribute $4000 USD to complete this project. Little improvements mean a lot! Please help!  Christmas Goal: Sacred Music The convent is becoming a center of sacred music. Through their schools, catechism, and parish activity the sisters reach thousands of adults and children in the diocese, making sacred music part of many lives.  The immediate need is for 15 new or used violins, violas and cellos. Friends of Campos would like to contribute $3000 USD towards this project. Help sacred music flourish with your contributions!  Christmas goal: Computers Both the seminarians and the sisters need computers for their studies and work, a need that has only increased with more courses, outreach and resources online than ever before. $5000 USD for each group will be plenty to furnish half a dozen basic workstations for their use. ​A little goes very far, especially with the current exchange rates which have been near 5 reals to the dollar. We are so grateful for any support you can send, be it $10 or $10,000. $20,000 USD would let us contribute to all these important projects.  Can you help us reach our goal by Christmas? Donate today!
