Rorate Caeli

Wolfe: Farewell, for now

It has been an honor to occasionally write for Rorate, especially on liturgy, sacraments and sacred music. The same goes for the op-eds in newspapers I have been fortunate to have published on the Latin Mass over the last several years.

This week, I began service in the Trump Administration, heading the faith-based office at the U.S. Department of Labor. From combatting anti-Christian bias to promoting religious freedom, this appointment is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I am privileged to have, directing a team of appointees to carry out this work.

To that end, I will not be writing in my personal capacity while serving in the Administration. But I hope you will appreciate the work that will be done, from the White House to the federal agencies such as Labor, in an era where there has been no shortage of bias and discrimination toward those who believe in, worship and serve God. Please keep me in your prayers.
