European Ordination Season - Rome

The first of the ordination ceremonies mentioned by us in our "European Ordination Season" post took place in Rome, in the Personal Parish of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter (FSSP), on June 22.

Images of the ordinations of Fr. Yousef Marie and Fr. Magdala Maria, of the Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer ("Transalpine Redemptorists") are available here.

Fr. Massimo Botta, FSSP, a man of the Latium, was the one for whom the ceremony was held in Rome.

Congratulations to all three!

  1. Yes, congratulations to all three new priests!

I'm truly overjoyed that Fr. Yousef Marie and Fr. Magdala Maria have FINALLY been ordained!! Please help support the Sons of the Redeemer in every way you are able. The patient humility of these two men and of this order is alone a proof of their importance to the Church.

I must concur with Mike. The Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer are worthy of all support.

Congratulations to Fr. Botta! I know him, he assisted at our parish's Easter Triduum Masses in 2012. A fine young man, I pray he becomes an even finer young priest!
