I will not comment on the words of the sermon pronounced by the Superior-General of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X yesterday at Flavigny, France, available here in French (mp3 file).
"The ... devil... insufflates this frenetical agitation... this mistrust among faithful and priests...which wishes to spread ... that the Superior-General is in the process of making secret compromises or ... [wishes] to sign and obtain an Apostolic Administration... [Castrillón Hoyos] has said 'the pope should be asked to lift the excommunications'."
From the Forum Catholique, a few other snippets:
"We will not demand the lifting of excommunications whose validity we have always refused.Rome seems to follow the way we have proposed ... But what is its true objective through this tactical change?"
Fellay dismisses any "rumors".
In other news, the Swiss Catholic news agency Apic reports that its own Roman sources have confirmed the Vatican meeting called by the Pope to discuss this matter.
