Roman rumors

The hyper-"Progressive" French religious weekly Golias mentions several possible changes in the Roman Curia after the probable nomination of Cardinal Canizares Llovera as the new Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the eventual nomination of the current Secretary of the same Congregation, Archbishop Malcolm Ranjith, as the new Archbishop of Colombo, Sri Lanka. The list of possible replacements of Archbishop Ranjith includes Monsignor Nicola Bux, Father Joseph Augustine DiNoia, OP, undersecretary at the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, and Dom Gregor Henckel-Donnermarck,  abbot at Heiligenkreuz, Austria.

Golias also mention a possible substitution of Archbishop Piero Marini's friend at the helm of the Cappella Musicale Pontificia Sistina, Monsignor Fortunato Baldelli. Baldelli, Cardinal Mastinez Sistach (of Barcelona), and Archbishop Martin (of Dublin) could be named to less important Curial positions which would make their current positions available for new papal appointments.

The well-known rumor of an early retirement of Cardinal Levada as head of CDF is once again mentioned as possible; his substitute could well be the Cardinal-Archbishop of Vienna, or even Cardinal Grocholewsky (current Prefect of Education) or Archbishop Hector Aguer, of La Plata, Argentina - predictably criticized by Golias, but considered by many a rare shining light within the Latin American episcopate.
