Events: Talk this Thursday in Magdalen College, Oxford;
Requiem for the souls of Priests in Pennsylvania

At 8pm on Thursday, 10th November, Dr Brian Sudlow will give a talk titled, "A Reactionary Revolution? The Society of St Pius X and the Roman Catholic Church" in the Old Law Library of Magdalen College, Oxford. His remarks will be followed by questions and discussion. 
Dr Sudlow, Lecturer of French with Translation Studies at Aston University, is an intellectual historian of the French Right and of French Catholic literature. A former supporter of the Society of St Pius X, he comments frequently on Catholic traditionalism, and prepared the English translation of "Marcel Lefebvre" by Bernard Tissier de Mallerais. 
The event is sponsored by Oxford's Graduate Catholic Theology Group. Admission is free, and all are welcome.

A Traditional Latin Requiem Mass will be offered at St. Titus Church, 952 Franklin Avenue, Aliquippa PA 15001, just NW of Pittsburgh, on Friday, 18 November 2011, at 7:00 PM. This Mass will be offered for all of the deceased pastors of St. Titus and is part of the St. Titus centennial observances. The celebrant will be Canon William Avis of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest and the Mass will feature a men's schola and instrumental soloists under the direction of Luke Mayernik, organist of the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Wheeling, WV. The Mass is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Woodlawn Council 2161 Traditional Latin Mass Guild.
