Events: Lectures by Dom Alcuin Reid in the New York City Area

Those of our readers living in the greater New York area may be interested in attending a talk to be given by Dom Alcuin Reid, monk of the Monastère Saint Benoit in the diocese of Fréjus-Toulon in France. Dom Alcuin is the author of The Organic Development of the Liturgy, for which Pope Benedict XVI wrote the preface.  Dom Alcuin will speak about his new book, Sacred Liturgy, and "The Elements and Future of the Liturgical Movement." He will speak on Friday 20 June at 7:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Church on West Avenue in Norwalk, CT.

His second talk will be on Sunday 22 June after Vespers (2:30 p.m.) at the Church of the Holy Innocents on West 37th Street, between Broadway and 7th Avenue.  This is a marvelous opportunity to hear and meet this eminent liturgical scholar and supporter of the Traditional Roman Mass.
