On 20th June, Holy Mass was said at the remains of Crossraguel Abbey, Ayrshire, Scotland. The celebrant was Fr Mark Morris of the Archdiocese of Glasgow. The Abbey was founded in the mid 13th century and was later sacked by an English Army. Rebuilt, its religious life was eventually brought to an end by the Scottish Reformation.However, thanks to Una Voce Scotland, the remains of the Abbey still provide a location for the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, well into the 21st century. Here's to the next 800 years!
