Rorate Caeli

Event: Diocesan priest's FIRST Mass to be TLM (and newest member of the Rorate Caeli Purgatorial Society)

Two great things to report out of the Archdiocese of San Francisco. This Saturday, May 18, Rev. Deacon Michael Rocha will be ordained a priest by Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone. The very next day, Sunday, May 19, he will offer his first Mass -- a Solemn High traditional Latin Mass. We are told this will be the first time in decades that a diocesan priest's first Mass will be traditional in the Archdiocese.

Also of note, on this wonderful day, he will become the 91st priest of the Rorate Caeli Purgatorial Society.

CHECK BACK HERE next week and video of his first Mass should be uploaded for your viewing.

God bless soon-to-be Father Rocha and thank you Archbishop Cordileone for not only allowing, but fostering, tradition in your priests.
