Following the tremendously positive reception of Episode I with over 1 million views to date, the creators of the Mass of the Ages trilogy are pleased to announce the release of Episode II slated for the Feast of the Ascension, Thursday, May 26, at 8pm ET. In contrast to the storytelling approach of Episode I, which offered a beautiful and compelling overview of the Traditional Latin Mass (TLM), Episode II takes an investigative posture, diving deeper into the origin of the New Mass, the key players in Rome, and its decades-long impact on the Catholic Church.
With consistent dedication to professional cinematography that showcases the ancient beauty and transcendence of the Roman Rite, Episode II focuses on the Second Vatican Council and the subsequent changes made to the longstanding rites of the Church. The cliffhanger ending of Episode I left viewers with a lot of questions, so Episode II seeks to respond by taking viewers on a historical and emotional journey that will reveal answers along the way.
In addition to free streaming at the Mass of the Ages YouTube channel, viewers can experience Episode II in person at select theatres in May in Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Front Royal, and Washington, D.C. Attendees will not only be the first to view Episode II, but Episode I will also be shown on the big screen prior to its companion. These film screenings will also feature in-person introductions from Director and Producer Cameron O’Hearn as well as Q+A periods afterwards with special guests (see below).

The momentum behind the traditional Latin Mass has not only not suffered from certain measures taken over the past year and a half; it has only grown stronger, as word reaches more and more Catholics that this is our treasure, our birthright, our pride and glory. Mass of the Ages is honored and humbled to play a part in this worldwide movement for recovering sacred tradition.
