Rorate Caeli

Live - Masses, Vespers, Concerts in an exclusively Traditional Conference

Just a reminder: LiveMass.org is broadcasting live the Masses, Vespers and Sacred Music concerts of the First Summorum Pontificum Congress, held by Una Voce México and the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter (FSSP) in Guadalajara - including at this exact moment. All liturgical acts are of the Traditional Roman Rite - making it a truly traditional conference.

The schedule and further information are available in our previous post.

Hopefully the SSPX will not protest and bullhorn during Mass like they did a couple years back when the FSSP offered a Mass in reparation for false ecumenism.

Why is it that when the FSSP does something it sponsors, there always has to be a negative comment about the SSPX? I don't think it is charitable to say something of the sort such as this comment right here, especially if the SSPX does not advocate such actions. They are a missionary order, not a pro liberal order.

It is dissapointing to me when a Traditional Mass is said and the Novus Ordo Altar is not reverently moved to the side. When we had permission from our Bishop to have the TLM at a beautiful Chapel of a former minor Seminary we were permitted to reverently move the Novus Ordo Altar to the side so that the beauty of the Old Rite not be blocked in any way.

The NO altar in Nuestra Senora del Pilar is marble and bolted to the floor. They would love to move it, but it is not possible.
