Blessing of Epiphany water

The photo above comes from the great St. Anne Church, a Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP) parish in San Diego (they have a new website here).

They blessed epiphany water last night -- nearly 300 gallons worth. The four tall white barrels hold 40 gallons each. And then the faithful brought 26 five-gallon containers.

If you're not familiar with epiphany water, it is blessed on the eve of epiphany. The ceremony takes about 40 minutes and includes the regular traditional exorcisms and blessings over holy water, plus the litany of the Saints and  an additional special exorcism, the Te Deum along with numerous psalms and the Magnificat.
