Anyway, there are celebrations taking place in many countries, including France. There, as part of the celebrations for this day, an Abortion and Family Planning Clinic ("centre de planification familiale et d'IVG") will be opened in Nantes by none other than Simone Veil, the favorite French friend of the Community of Sant'Egidio (the people of the "Spirit of Assisi") -- this while a commission of the French Parliament has issued grave warnings about the demographic collapse of Europe.
