1. Institute of the Good Shepherd (IBP) closes doors in Brazil:Why? The local representative of the Institute in Brazil, Father Roch Perrel, clarified in his last sermon that a priest is not only a "Sacrament distributor", but truly a spiritual Father. The tone of the last Sermon preached by Father Perrel in Sao Paulo seems to indicate that a certain sectarian, probably lay-dominated, mindset was making the full exercise of spiritual fatherhood difficult for the IBP clergy in Brazil.
