I would like to participate in this.

Does anyone know what overnight accomadations are around St Mathews Cathedral?
Thank you.

Dan -- The hotels there (Mayflower, etc.) are very expensive. If you don't mind a short Metro (subway) ride, try Arlington or Alexandria hotels for a better deal.
