On a different note, here is Pope Benedict XVI's itinerary in Malta on April 17 - Apr 18, in advance of his 5 th anniversary as Sweet Christ on Earth.

One wonders if this is a test to see how bad things truly are for the Church. There is no place on Earth, not even Italy or Rome itself, that would offer the kind of warm welcome to the Holy Father that he would typically receive in Malta. If the heat goes up even here, it will say alot to His Holiness.

On an equally sombre note, nary a smidgeon of a mention of even one single offering of the Extraordinary Form of the Mass on the Maltese Islands for this visit, close to 3 years after the issuance of SP.

Sincerely in Jesus, Mary and Joseph,

    MKT.

    Dear M.K.T.:

Right you are. There have been no regular T.L.M.s on Malta since the early 1970s.
