Cardinal Canizares Llovera sent a letter to the Superior of the Institute of the Good Shepherd, apologizing for not being able to lead the Ordinations of July 10, 2010, but vowing to visit the Bordeaux main house of the Institute soon.

  1. I like that discreet use of the passive voice with "empêché." He wanted to be present, but "he was prevented from doing so." Could be by circumstances, could be by people.
