Official communiqué of the Secretary General appearing on the website of l’Institut du Bon Pasteur :
Through an exchange of letters, regarded as explicit agreement, between His Excellency Mgr. Hippolyte Simon, Archbishop of Clermont and Fr. Philippe Laguérie, superior general of the Institute of the Good Shepherd, dated respectively 6 and 23 of September 2010, having obtained the consent of the person concerned:
Rev. Paul Aulagnier is (and remains) incardinated in the diocese of Clermont since 1968. By said agreement, under the terms of canon 271 § 2, he is a canonical issue of the diocese of Clermont for the benefit of the Institute of the Good Shepherd for a period of five years renewable. His "ordinary" becomes the superior general of the Good Shepherd.
His fellow members of the Good Shepherd offer him their heartfelt congratulations and the Institute thanks him for the honor of his service. Fr. Aulagnier remains the treasurer general of the Institute.
