I would like to remind everyone that the approval or deletion of comments rest solely on the discretion of the moderators. Demanding that one's comments be published -- and doing so in an insulting manner -- ensures that the opposite will happen. Comments that are otherwise excellent but which contain insults or unnecessarily demeaning remarks aimed at a commentator tend to be eventually deleted.
Furthermore, the propensity of some regulars to post comments on the wrong threads or to repeat the same points again and again ad nauseam, not to speak of the rash of "anonymouses" whose comments are almost impossible to track, sometimes lead the moderators to delete a lot of comments in order to maintain some semblance of order in the threads.
