This is the kind of news that lifts my spirits considerably. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

Padre Romo, aka Fr. Jonathan Romanoski, FSSP, is a wonderful young priest. He has been kind enough to offer the Traditional Mass for us whenever he is in town visiting. He also offered the first Requiem Funeral Mass in over 40 years at St. Titus Church, Aliquippa, PA, in 2009. He has a true zeal for the salvation of souls.

God bless him and his confreres in their efforts to restore Catholic Tradition.

Wish we lived in Mexico.
This is wonderful!

Our Ordinary will not have an FSSP apostolate in our diocese.

Your Ordinary will not have an FSSP apostolate in your diocese? Write to the Ecclesia Dei Commission about it. Politely ask them, "Why?"

If your diocese is like hundreds of others you might remind Ecclesia Dei that the FSSP could be given one of the many empty churches in your area. Certainly there are a few.

I planned my entire honeymoon (eight weeks ago) around the FSSP parish in Guadalajara.

Some fine priests there. And a great group of families.

Let's spread the word on this opportunity, especially for those priests and deacons from Spanish-speaking areas.

I've had the pleasure of meeting Fr. James Fryer before ... he's a fine person and good & humble servant of God.

These priests and seminarians are in good hands.

Mexico is full of Traditions. I hope they embrace the Traditional Mass as well. There is much beauty in the 62 Missal....
