Pope Benedict XVI, in his teaching on the liturgy, has not only emphasized the principles of organic development and continuity-in-reform, but has also established a juridic basis for the co-existence of the two forms of the Roman rite. Fr Cassian Folsom, O.S.B., prior and founder of the Monastery of St. Benedict in Nursia (Norcia, Umbria, Italy), will give a talk on this matter at the Brompton Oratory (London) called "Summorum Pontificum and Liturgical Law". The conference, to be held on Dec. 13, at 7:30 PM, will look at Summorum Pontificum in the context of liturgical law.
