Since we reported the first public ad orientem celebration of Pope Francis in October 2013 (Francis turns towards God), it is also noted, for the future record of current events, that the second public celebration of the Pope ad orientem took place yesterday at his Sistine Chapel, soon before his announcement of the names of the new Cardinals of the Holy Roman Church.
