O, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness!

On the Feast of the Epiphany the Most Rev. Frank Joseph Caggiano, the new Bishop of Bridgeport, CT,  came to St. Mary's Church in Norwalk to bless the beautifully renovated church, including the magnificent reredos with an original painting of the Assumption by the artist Leonard Porter, the rood whose statues were carved by Peter Kelley, and the new baptistry.  The Mass was a Solemn Mass in the presence of the Ordinary.  The church was overflowing with people, the music under David Hughes' direction was superb, the iconic beauty of the Traditional Mass shone with brilliance thanks to to the extraordinary opus amoris of the Master of Ceremonies, John Pia, and the event was in a real way a spiritual blessing for all who participated.
