Rorate Caeli

Archdiocese of Philly names pastor of its newest FSSP parish — first Mass September 9

As the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP) continues to make inroads into the East Coast, we can now report that the great Fr. Carl Gismondi, FSSP -- current pastor of St. Anne’s Church in San Diego -- will become the new pastor of St. Mary’s in Conshohocken, Penn. Father’s first Mass at the currently closed church will take place on September 9 (details below). Rorate will be there, incognito of course, and urges everyone in the area to please attend.

This church, besides being recently closed, has also suffered from vandalism in recent weeks. So it’s all the more important that traditional Catholics support its success. Details on the first Mass are below. Please consider coming and thanking God for the progress our traditional orders are making under His protection.
