Your Holiness, Tear Down This Wall ! It's time for Traditionis Custodes to fall.

Traditionis custodes, the cruel document of Francis that aimed to completely (even if gradually) annihilate the Traditional liturgy of the Latin Church, was promulgated on the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, exactly five years ago.

There was one group benefited above all by Traditionis Custodes: the Society of Saint Pius X.

Now, they would never favor it or be happy with it. But they were immensely benefited in practice by the end of Summorum Pontificum with a monopoly or quasi-monopoly of the Traditional Latin Mass and Sacraments in vast parts of the world.

Considering the most recent difficulties faced by that Society in its relations with the Apostolic See, it is time for His Holiness the Pope to send this hideous document, this wall of shame that marginalizes the most faithful Catholics, to the dustbin of history, and bring back justice and peace, as shown by the example of Pope Benedict XVI, of most blessed memory. It is time to once again bring freedom to Catholics and to liberalize what should never have been curtailed.
