Something is afoot.
What? We, the hoi polloi, do not know.
For several days now, strange events and declarations have swept European governments. The French President assembled the heads of all parties for revelations on the "security" situation. The governing executive of Switzerland, the Federal Council, has revealed a "deteriorating security situation" and adopted a new Security Policy Strategy. The Finnish president tell his population to prepare. The Estonian Prime Minister warns of a Russian "General Mobilization." And, after almost two years of a stalemate, the United States has reached today an overwhelming security deal with Denmark and Greenland over the complete and permanent control of the security of the largest island in the world by the American government.
A "Russian General Mobilization." The terrifying words that turned the First World War from an irresponsible "Blank Check" given by Berlin to Vienna into an inevitable general European conflagration.
What is going on? All we can do at the moment is pray. Europe, and Christendom, and Civilization have never truly recovered from the grave error of the First World War. May Our Lady, Queen of Peace, pray for Europe and the whole World.
