The Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter is happy to announce that our 2016 Liturgical Calendar is now available! The theme for 2016 is “The Life of Our Lord,” and each month features a beautiful work of art depicting a scene from the life of Christ. The calendar is introduced by a moving letter from the Fraternity’s new North American District Superior, Fr. Gerard Saguto.
The individual days of the calendar display the feast of the day, commemoration, class, and color according to the liturgical books of 1962. The boxes have again been modified to increase the space available for daily notes. Additionally, days of fast and abstinence (or “penance”) are shown and clearly delineated according to both the discipline of 1962 and the current discipline. At the end of the calendar, a full page is dedicated to fully explaining both disciplines.The beautiful and inspirational artwork throughout this calendar make it a wonderful gift for friends and family, and it’s liturgical ordo is a great benefit to both priests and laity, and it is still only $13, including shipping!
