First-time retreats in the USA given by the Benedictine monks of Notre Dame Priory (Australia)

It is rare enough to find a good retreat master, and rarer still one who will offer Mass, hear Confessions, and lead hours of the Divine Office in their traditional forms. That is why these upcoming men’s and women’s 5-day retreats are such a great opportunity for Catholics in the USA.

Traditional Retreat for Men

After the U.S. seminary of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter completes the spring semester and ordinations, its spiritual director, the Reverend Father James Buckley, FSSP, drives around the country to conduct retreats and missions.

Father Buckley's retreats are based on the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius of Loyola.  A July 2013 retreat in Maryland for women is already full, but there are three slots (of 20) available for his June 2013 men's (silent) retreat in Virginia.  Daily traditional Latin Mass is offered (Missa Cantata on Sunday) and confession and spiritual direction are available for exercitants.  The men's retreat will consist of the First Week of the Exercises.
